FAQ

What is RemoteOfficeTemp.com?

Welcome! Our goal here is to create a free community for people looking to work from home, and provide them with high quality information. We’re tired of scam websites with outrageous claims and links to nowhere (or worse, viruses and pop-ups). Additionally, we want you to be able to use this site to network with other users who might be able to provide helpful referrals, advice and suggestions, etc. Together, we can make RemoteOfficeTemp a virtual community of job seekers!

Are there any fees, hidden or otherwise, to use RemoteOfficeTemp.com?

Absolutely not. This is a free website. We do add advertising to help defray the cost of our servers and bandwidth, but we will never charge you just for using the site. We want you to come here and share your experiences, and even better -- find a job! Please notify us IMMEDIATELY if you see anyone selling anything on this site.

What do you do with the personal information you collect?
We don't collect any personal information. If you choose, you may receive emails of weekly newsletters or periodic updates to threads you have subscribed to. If you don't sign up for the emails, you won't receive them. We will never sell or divulge your email to a 3rd party.

Where are the jobs?

You’ll find a list of popular job listing websites in the forums below, accompanied by a site review and other user comments. In the future, we also hope to offer our own employment opportunities from our affiliates and contacts in the business world.

Where can I post?

Anywhere you choose. Sometimes, a moderator will move your post if he/she feels it’s in the wrong place, but don’t be afraid to post whatever’s on your mind. We welcome user input at every level of our website, and are always looking for good ideas. Who knows, we might even hire you here!

Can I post my resume?

Absolutely. In fact, we encourage it. Just take a look at the resume forum (under working from home). You can also ask your fellow users for resume and cover letter advice. Please make sure not to include any private information that you wouldn’t want made public, since unfortunately you might be spammed

RemoteOfficeTemp looks forward to serving you. Now please, go ahead and introduce yourself!

Please note, we are not associated with any of the websites listed in the forums below. The authors of the reviews have attempted to verify accurate information at the time of writing, but the information is subject to change at any time and we encourage you to do your own research.
